Local Information Sessions Hosted by Visiting Colleges
Various colleges and univerities hold information sessions at various locations in the greater New Orleans area in the fall. Our junior and senior students are invited to attend these informative events.
Vanderbilt University: Thursday, August 27, 7:00 pm @ Louise S. McGehee School, 2343 Prytania Street, New Orleans, 70130. General Information Session. Open to the public.
Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, and Stanford: Thursday, Sept. 3, 7:30 pm @ Marriott New Orleans at the Convention Center, 859 Convention Center Blvd. General Information Session. RSVP @ www.exploringcollegeoptions.org
Tulane University: Louisiana Week, Sept. 8-11. Students are encouraged to attend one full day (only) for thorough exploration of academic, cultural and social opportunities at Tulane. RSVP by calling 1.800.873.WAVE or 504.314.2151.
Washington University: Wednesday, Sept. 9, 7:00 pm @ New Orleans Marriott Metairie, 3838 North Causeway Blvd., 504.836.5253. General Information Session. No reservation needed.
The Regional College Fair: Thursday, Oct. 1, 6-9 pm @ Grace King High School. Free and open to the public. For more information, please go to: www.collegenight.org
National College Fair: Thursday, Oct. 1, 9-Noon & 6-8:00 pm @ Baton Rouge River Center, 275 South River Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Many representatives from colleges around the country will be present to answer your questions and offer information.
University of Virginia: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6:30 pm @ Ben Franklin High School, 2001 Leon C. Simon Drive, New Orleans, 70122. Information session. RSVP not necessaray.
