Ms. Lemann and Ms. Williams’s Kindergarten Class spent the last few weeks studying dinosaurs. 🦕🦖 The girls had fun asking all sorts of questions and exploring everything about those amazing creatures of the past, learning dinosaur facts and dispelling myths. They spent the afternoons chiseling away at fossils, digging for dinosaur bones in a sandpit, making and illustrating a book of dinosaur facts, creating a dinosaur habitat, working on a class mural and putting together a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex puzzle! The culmination of the dinosaur unit was a dino egg hunt and the eruption of the girls’ volcano.

The Pre-K and K Parade never disappoints, this year’s crew had a blast! 🤩
A parade like no other, McGehee’s annual Pre-K and K parade took off on campus Wednesday morning without float breakdowns or band delays, much to the great delight of parents and students. This parade is always a great way to get in the Mardi Gras spirit at McGehee! 💜💚💛
