Little Gate Rosh Hashanah Celebration

Yesterday, Little Gate was honored to welcome a special guest for a Rosh Hashanah celebration. Rabbi Yochanan graced us with the sounds of the shofar, each unique pattern carrying profound meaning. The beauty of control and intention filled the air, creating a sensory experience unlike any other.

Following this memorable moment, our Little Gaters came together to enjoy apples and honey, symbolizing our heartfelt wishes for a sweet and prosperous year ahead. Shana Tovah!

Founded in 1912 and located on a one-of-a-kind campus in the Garden District of New Orleans, McGehee is a private, independent, all-girls pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school.
