Afterschool Enrichment

Our Afterschool Enrichment program provides working parents the opportunity for extended care as well as enrichment options for their daughter(s) in a well-structured, nurturing and safe environment. Enrichment is offered to all McGehee girls in Pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade. McGehee students in grades 8-12 are welcome to remain on campus after first signing in through Enrichment.

At the end of the school day, Enrichment students in Kindergarten through 7th grade meet with their Enrichment teacher(s). The group size is small and organized by grade level. Along with their group, 1st-7th grade students have time to get their homework completed, play outdoors and take part in games and other fun activities.

Additionally, Enrichment classes can be scheduled for a nominal, additional fee. A wide range of classes are available, such as gymnastics, karate, soccer, ballet, yoga, cooking, tennis, volleyball, animal art, wacky science, robotics, and sewing. Additional classes will be added throughout the year. And, best of all, parents can choose the Homework Lab for their daughter(s) to be with a McGehee teacher who supervises and checks homework.

Hours:

The hours of operation are from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and on Wednesdays from 2:20 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Details:

Enrichment staff includes faculty members, college and graduate students and other local professionals.
Delicious and nutritious snacks are served to our girls each afternoon.

Registration Fee: One time non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child.
