Audrey O'Neill

Team Captain of the Varsity Basketball team, and member of the Varsity Track & Field Team name just several of Audrey O’Neill’s athletic accomplishments. She had this to say about her teammates, “I am going to miss all the younger girls on my sports teams, I love them so much and they all really made my high school experience great!”

Audrey has also served as a Student Ambassador and as Peer Support Leader both her junior and senior years.

When asked about inspirational faculty members, Audrey wrote, “Mr. McLetchie has been a teacher of mine all four years of high school, so he has been a staple in my McGehee experience. He has always been there for me and has been a great teacher these past few years. Another teacher who has made an impact on me is Ms. Schmitt. She has been an amazing teacher since 9th grade and I'll miss her so much in college.”

Audrey’s favorite tradition takes place tomorrow evening and she can’t wait. She commented, “I love the tradition of May Day, it is so exciting to see what the sophomores put on every year and I loved creating May Day with my grade.”

She was accepted into Tulane University, early decision, and is thrilled. She stated, “I just love everything about Tulane and it is such a happy place!”
