Grace Lyman Caudill

Class of 2010

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

Grace, a 2010 graduate of McGehee and a 2014 graduate of Vanderbilt University, has forged a unique path blending corporate event management with her passion for supporting women and families. Grace played a pivotal role in establishing Wellspire Center, a professional development and networking hub in Nashville, Tennessee. However, her lifelong interest in birth work led her to pivot from corporate events in 2021 to pursue a career as a Lactation Consultant.

After hiking the Appalachian Trail with her husband, Grace dedicated herself to training and internships, launching her lactation business under Nashville Birth and Babies. She now helps mothers and babies achieve their feeding goals, while also raising her one-year-old daughter, Rees.

Reflecting on her time at McGehee, Grace credits the school’s focus on empowering women as the foundation for her work in supporting families. As she shared in her 2022 Founder's Day speech as the 10-Year Speaker, the most valuable lesson she learned was that success is defined not just by achievements, but by the integrity and intention behind them—values instilled by McGehee’s Honor Code.
