Naya Gros

Student-Athlete at the University of Minnesota

Naya Gros was born and raised in New Orleans and recently graduated from Michigan State University in spring 2022 with a degree in journalism, minoring in sports journalism. Gros completed four years as a student-athlete on the Michigan State volleyball team and transferred to the University of Minnesota in the summer of 2022 to continue her academic and athletic career. Gros will be completing a one year program for a Leadership for Managers Certificate while at the University of Minnesota.

Founded in 1912 and located on a one-of-a-kind campus in the Garden District of New Orleans, McGehee is a private, independent, all-girls pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. Educating and inspiring students from communities across the area from Metairie to the Westbank, Gentilly to Uptown, River Ridge and beyond, McGehee is a diverse and inclusive prep school welcoming all qualified girls regardless of race, religion, national or ethnic origin.
