VIVIENNE LAPEYRE

Class of 2018

Grad School Student at SCAD in Themed Entertainment

Vivienne Lapeyre always knew she wanted to become a theme park designer, a dream nurtured by her creatively artistic mother and technically innovative father. After graduating from McGehee, she pursued her passion at Tulane University, where she double-majored in Architecture and Film, with a minor in Business—fields she knew would be essential for a career in themed entertainment design.

Currently, Vivienne is working toward her M.F.A. in Themed Entertainment Design, a program that covers everything from experiential marketing and festival design to museum and theme park design. Last winter, she had the incredible opportunity to intern with the Universal Creative Master Planning Team, where she contributed to projects for both domestic and international parks. Designing magical worlds and bringing them to life was a dream come true, and she looks forward to continuing her journey in this exciting field after her graduation next spring.

“McGehee’s approach to discussion based analysis in the humanities gave me the skills to not be afraid to come to the table with questions and to speak out about my creative ideas with confidence.”
