District 10-1A Champions

Congratulations to our Varsity Track and Field team, the 2023 District 10-1A Champions! They put on an outstanding performance during the district meet, qualifying for regionals in every event for the first time in school history. It was a great day to be a Hawk as each individual athlete and supporter came together to contribute to this big moment for our team! The Hawks compete in the LHSAA Region 1A- Region 3 Championship Tuesday, April 25 at Ponchatoula High School.

Founded in 1912 and located on a one-of-a-kind campus in the Garden District of New Orleans, McGehee is a private, independent, all-girls pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. Educating and inspiring students from communities across the area from Metairie to the Westbank, Gentilly to Uptown, River Ridge and beyond, McGehee is a diverse and inclusive prep school welcoming all qualified girls regardless of race, religion, national or ethnic origin.
