Region IV Tennis Team Championship

Congratulations to our Varsity Tennis team for capturing the Division IV, Region IV Tennis Team Championship at City Park on Monday. This was our second consecutive year winning the Championship after last year's team won our school's first ever Regional Championship. Senior Coco Prokop won the Singles Championship defeating last year's Division IV State Champion, Brooke Powers of Christ Episcopal School in straight sets. Sophomore Ana King and Freshman Florence Dupuy won the Doubles Championship in straight sets as well. Both will be top seeds in next week's LHSAA Division IV State Tournament in Monroe.

Also qualifying for State were 8th Grader Adler Rosenthal who advanced to the semi-finals in the Singles bracket and Senior Rachel Natal and Freshman Campbell Banta who were also semi-finalists in doubles.
